Investment Objective/Strategy
The Acuity Social Values Global Equity Fund provides long-term capital growth by investing in a globally diversified portfolio of primarily large-sized companies which fit the Fund's concept of social values.
The Portfolio Advisor, Acuity Investment Management Inc., seeks companies with proven management, proprietary/strategic advantages, financial strength, above average sales or earnings growth potential, and favourable valuation levels. Social criteria upon which companies are evaluated include excellence in environmental management, positive labour practices, involvement in promoting human rights in other countries, and the avoidance of nuclear power, weapons, alcohol or tobacco as major sources of revenue.
