Investment Objective/Strategy
The Acuity Conservative Asset Allocation Fund provides a prudent balance between long-term capital appreciation and income by investing primarily in a conservative combination of Canadian equity securities, fixed income securities and income trusts. The Fund will invest primarily in a conservative and balanced portfolio of Canadian high-quality government and coprorate bonds and other fixed income securities, common and preferred shares, convertibles, income trusts, mortgage securities and money market instruments.
The Portfolio Advisor, Acuity Investment Management Inc., may actively shift the Fund's investments between equity and fixed income securities or in cash and cash equivalents in the short-term depending upon market conditions.
